Support

Need a hand with Portwood?

Portwood is free and self-serve, but you're never stuck. The docs cover most of it. When the question is about your templates, your queries, or your org, a support plan gets you a private Slack channel, or email if you prefer, with the people who write Portwood.

The fastest way to get unstuck.

Almost every real question is about your Portwood: the template you're building, the query that won't cooperate, the org that changed underneath you. Those need someone who can see your setup, and that's what a support plan is for.

Your own channel with the people who write Portwood.

  • Your templates: authoring, layout, something rendering wrong
  • Your query: relationships, filters, the visual builder
  • Your org: a Salesforce release that moved something
  • Where templates get built: drafts and revisions, worked out in the channel
  • Response within 16, 8 or 4 working hours, depending on the plan
  • Hands-on hours in your org on the Team and Enterprise plans
A channel that's just your team and ours. One price covers everyone in your org, billed monthly or annually, and you can cancel anytime. Whether you keep the plan or not, your templates live in your org and stay yours.

Also free: a public community Slack for general questions about Portwood: how things work, feature requests, bugs, show & tell. Answered by other builders when they're around. Join it here.

Bug reports go to support@portwood.dev. Sensitive org details are fine there, or raise them in your private support channel. Prefer to track it in the open? GitHub Issues is public, so leave org specifics out. Portwood stays free because we believe in the work our users do. If you'd like to give back, see the causes we support.
